"Rocky Top" Mountain Lodge
Four Bedrooms, Six
full Baths, A guest Bath, Three
Custom Fireplaces
Your
“Dream” Mountain Lodge is located on
4 acres at the very top of Chestnut
Mountain with pristine sunset views
of Big Sheepcliff, Yellow, Black
Rock, Cow Rock, Shortoff, and Laurel
Knob Mountains at 4100 feet
elevation. Your Lodge is
located within minutes from
Cashiers, N.C., in Bald Rock, a
private Gated mountain civilized
wilderness that features
breathtaking views, waterfalls, a
community equestrian center
with
all the amenities, and miles of
trails for hiking or riding.
Bald Rock adjoins Panthertown
Valley, a 6,300-acre nature preserve
owned and operated by the U.S.
Forestry Service. The entry to
Panthertown is less than 100 feet
from the entry to your drive leading
to your Lodge—your choice to hike or
ride.
The
enclosed floor plan lets
you plan on how you could furnish
your dream lodge. You will soon feel
that this is your Sanctuary. Driving
through your custom log entrance
announcing "Rocky Top" at the entry area
of your circular driveway, your senses
tell you that there is a rush of water.
From your driveway, a bridge carries you
over a rushing mountain stream with
multiple waterfalls onto the main level
to your new home. The sound is a nice
welcome for you and your guests to
linger over.
Entering
your Mountain Lodge, walking past a
beautifully handcrafted mountain laurel
wall, you soon realize that you have
beautiful mountain vistas from every
room. There are decks on each
level to enjoy, always changing mountain
views that an artist could never
replicate. When there is rain, you can
see a rushing waterfall as well. Your
Lodge has three levels, the main level
is 3,662 square feet, the second level
is 3,038 square feet, and the lower
level below is 1,346 square feet giving
a grand total of 8,046 square feet, more
or less.
The
Garage is 660 square feet and the decks
are 6,752 square feet, more or less. All
three levels have decks and wonderful
views. The Entry and Gallery Hallway
welcomes you with exquisite travertine
and custom made Mission Style
chandeliers by Hammerton. Hammerton
Lanterns adorn the right of your Lodge
as well.
THE
